Volunteer Work Weekends

The Faire of Champions fairground and Woodcock Woodlands campground are open during each Work Weekend for staff, guilds, and volunteers to work on their individual and group projects in preparation for the upcoming event or season. These weekends are typically filled with planning and work during the day, followed by evening gatherings where we share stories, laugh, and strengthen our bonds of friendship and family.

While many volunteers enjoy working on the land and building, we understand that some may prefer to come out for some much-needed relaxation and socialization with their faire family. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that Woodcock Woodlands will open a small area of the campgrounds for weekend camping.

Join us in the woods to relax, soak up nature, explore the paths, and enjoy evening fun and family time. Camping is rustic, so please bring everything you need, but note that a Porta potty is available. Check our work weekend schedule by clicking the Event Schedule button below.
